About This Course

Guided surgery for implant placement is not a new concept in implant dentistry. Restoratively driven implant placement is a well-accepted and often-quoted dogma when clinicians consider implant positioning. However, guided surgery, which many believe to be the apogee of restoratively driven implant planning and placement still struggles to find wide-scale acceptance in the UK.

This recorded webinar puts forward the case for computer-guided surgery. It discusses the benefits of planning your surgery virtually before going to the patient’s mouth and the clinical advantages of guided surgery. It also looks to the future and how this fast-evolving technology may evolve.
