The bedrock of delivering cosmetic dentistry remains effective communication and patient consent. Demand for cosmetic dentistry continues unabated.  Patient expectations, notions of happiness, identity and image are driving this demand and this recorded webinar will address the issues and also review the ethical, philosophical, psychological and risk management aspects of provision.

Aims

This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and understanding of the issues relating to the provision of cosmetic dentistry. The ethical, philosophical and risk management aspects of provision shall be addressed.

Objectives

During this course learners will be able to:

• Understand the ethical challenges impacting the provision cosmetic dentistry.
• Understand the principles of consent and clinical negligence.
• Apply risk management principles to cosmetic dentistry.
