About This Course

This recorded webinar discusses the referral criteria for Special Care Dentistry and a few examples of clinical conditions that general dental practitioners’ patients can present with. This session explores in detail some of the challenges faced by patients with general dentists and why it may be more suitable to see them in secondary care or community dental services where the clinical needs will be adapted. In this webinar we have a dentist shares their experiences of treating patients with common medical conditions and how they overcome barriers in Special Care Dentistry.
