This webinar discusses different types of complex medical history that can present to the primary dental services and discusses patient management. With life expectancy increasing, the cohort and complexity of patients seen will increase and it is important to be able to manage these patients in primary care and understand the dental implications of the conditions. The degenerative nature of conditions can result in treatment modifications and result in lack of capacity and therefore, best interest meetings may be needed. It is important to ensure that dental care professional are onboard with prevention to prevent dental disease from occurring in the first place.
